Why did you choose this school?: With a beautiful campus, welcoming community and wonderful academic programs, I found Washington and Lee University the perfect place for me to thrive as a student and as an athlete. I love the team culture, competitive nature and the wonderful coaching staff there. Once, I stepped onto campus, I instantly knew that this was a place where I wanted to be. I am so excited to attend next fall.

 Who would you like to thank?: I would first like to thank my biggest supporters and cheerleaders, my mom, dad and twin sister. From driving me to tournaments to cheering from the stands, they have always encouraged me to chase my dreams and I will always be thankful for them. I would also like to thank my high school coach, Susan Silver, my club coach, Nate Coolidge and the team of Boston Field Hockey Club coaches, for always supporting and pushing me to become a better athlete. Finally, I would like to thank W&L Coach Wills for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
