The top athletes in the classes of 2028 and 2029 came together to showcase their skills Monday and Tuesday at The Proving Grounds for the annual MAX Field Hockey Top 150 & Top 100 National Player Invitationals. The event featured the nation’s best of the best field hockey talent, competing on water-based turf in 7v7 play, a Goalkeeper Showcase, and full field 11v11 games. 110+ college coaches lined the field to watch the 2028s Monday just a month out from the June 15th contact date, and another 90+ attended Tuesday’s 2029 event, watching the young talent in the freshman class. Each day was a huge success and the high level of team hockey that was displayed was incredible, even with the 95 degree temperatures! Thank you to all the athletes, coaches, umpires and staff who participated and made the event possible.

Class of 2028 TOP 150: Athletes earned an invitation by being named to MAX Field Hockey’s Top 150 Players in the Class of 2028. Spots were limited to 100 field players and 10 goalkeepers. All Top 50 & Next 50 players were allowed to register and any remaining spots were filled by invitation from the Watch List. View Player Rankings

110+ COLLEGE COACHES ATTENDED
The college coach attendance was a record high this year! What makes this event so unique is that it all takes place on 1 field, so these 110+ college coaches all have the opportunity to watch all the games on 1 water-based turf field. Head Coaches attend. Full coaching staffs attend. It is an incredible site to see the number of college coaches lining the field to watch this event.

Included in the athlete’s fee is the video footage of all 7v7 games, the GK Showcase, and all 11v11 games (college coaches are also able to access this video for free). The complete video footage will be available shortly. Athletes can access that footage at the pages linked below from the images. Put the All Games Package in your cart and “check out” even though it is free. You will be notified when it becomes available.
