2018 Notables: Had an early season win over defending AAA State Champions PA#8 and #18 nationally ranked Penn Manor- 3-2, as well as several Pennsylvania Region Top 20 ranked teams, including PA#12 Villa Maria Academy, PA#20 Mount Saint Joseph Academy, PA#10 Germantown, PA#5 Episcopal Academy, PA#OC Archbishop Carroll and PA#OC Downingtown West.
2019 Outlook:Â The Irish graduate a talented senior class led by 2x All-Delco Player of the Year, Lauren Curran (Second Team All-American, Boston College). The team returns several key starters; Goalkeeper Paige Kieft, Mia Leonhardt (First Team All-Region, UNC commit), Emily Graeff (UVA commit), Vivi Trumpbour (Georgetown commit), Meg Mitchell (Villanova commit) and Bri Odgers. The team will once again play a competitive schedule and compete for another league championship.
Over the next couple of months MAX Field Hockey will be releasing special features on teams that will be competing in the MAX Field Hockey High School National Invitational at The Proving Grounds, September 20-22, 2019. We are still accepting registrations for teams automatically qualified and applications for additional teams interested in participating!
