Shippensburg University takes top spot in Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II Preseason National Coaches Poll

Defending Division II national champion, Shippensburg University decisively took the first-place station on the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II Preseason National Coaches Poll with 239 points and 18 first place votes. The Raiders were followed in the ranking by East Stroudsburg University who they met in the semifinal game of the NCAA tournament last year. LIU Post, Millersville University and West Chester University rounded out the top five, respectively.

GILBERT, Ariz. — Defending NCAA Division III national champion, Middlebury College, led the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III Preseason National Coaches Poll taking the number one spot. Middlebury was followed by Messiah College who they faced in the NCAA championship game last year. The College of New Jersey took the third spot, with Franklin & Marshall College and Salisbury University taking the fourth and fifth places respectively.
