December 23rd was opening weekend for the Junior Premier Indoor League run by Junior Premier Hockey. The U14s opened up play with each team facing off in two matches. After opening weekend Freedom HKY (MD) claim the top spot in Pool A and Shore Byrds (DE) claim the top spot in Pool B. Five teams sit at a perfect 2-0 (Freedom HKY (MD), SPark (MD), Shore Byrds (DE), Uprise (NJ) and XCalibur (PA). Following are the complete standings for Pool A and B:
