Why did you choose this school?: I chose UVA because it’s the school that had the best of all worlds when it came down to my core values. I wanted a school that valued athletics just as much as academics, and UVA does just that. Meeting Coach Michele, Coach Ole, and Coach Alyssa finalized my decision because they were so welcoming and I knew I would be challenged everyday playing for them. I’ve had special connection to UVA since I was a little girl, as it was the first school I had ever done a camp for back in 2014. Since then, I’ve always known that UVA was the school for me. I’ve always described UVA as a home waiting for me.

 Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my parents for providing me with every resource to make my dreams come true. I’d like to especially thank my Mom for always being there for me and supporting my every step in this journey. I owe a big thank you to all my coaches for fueling my love for field hockey and helping me grow into the player I am today. I want to also thank the coaches at UVA for giving me this amazing opportunity.
