Why did you choose this school?:  I chose the University of Maryland because I love the campus, coaching staff, field hockey and academic programs, and the competitive atmosphere. It feels like home and I know it’s the perfect fit for me!

 Who would you like to thank?:I would like to thank the Maryland coaching staff for giving me this great opportunity to continue my field hockey career at an amazing school. I would also like to thank my Freedom club coaches Sarah Dawson and Kasey Tapman, my high school coaches, Shelly Chamness and Gina Asher, and all of my teammates for always pushing me to become the best player I can be. Finally, I would like to thank my parents for always being so supportive of me and for all the hours they have put into driving me to practices, games, tournaments, etc. I am so thankful to have them as part of my life and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them.
