Why did you choose this school?: I chose Lehigh because it checked off every one of my boxes both on and off the field. It combines my love for competition with my desire to learn. I was especially drawn by the welcoming atmosphere. Everybody that I met there seemed so nice! I could tell the LUFH team is a family. I never quite understood what people meant when they said, in regards to choosing a college, “Oh, you’ll know. It will feel like home.” Now, I understand. As soon as I stepped onto the beautiful campus, I knew deep down that this was where I wanted to be. Lehigh University is, truly, my dream college. I cannot think of a single reason why I would not choose this school.

 Who would you like to thank?: There are so many people I would like to thank, I could write an essay of gratitude. I appreciate you, Mom and Dad, for always supporting me, whether that be by driving me places, cheering me on from the sidelines, or simply saying “You did such a great job!” To Coach Suter, Coach Janelle, and all my other coaches from high school and/or club, thank you for sharing your love of field hockey with me. Thank you Coach AJ for seeing the potential in me that I had trouble seeing in myself. Thank you Coach Gobie for being there for me from Day One. I also am thankful for Ms. Vita as she opened my eyes to things I never knew I never knew. Mr. Zimmerman, you have prepared me for college, and for life, and for that, I am grateful. Finally, I want to thank Coach Dallmeyer and Coach Dyer, not only for extending this amazing opportunity to me, but for fostering a team culture that I could only dream to be a part of. Thank you, everybody for making my dream come true. Thank you.
