The top three in the New England Region stay the same in week 6 with Acton-Boxborough, Andover, and Phillips Academy Andover coming in at #1, #2, and #3. Andover had a big week, knocking off #4 ranked Walpole 1-0 and North Andover 4-0. Skowhegan Area also got a bump up to the #8 spot after defeating then #5 ranked Messalonskee 3-1.
We have three newcomers to this week’s Top 20. Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA) enters the top 20 at #15 with a 12-0 start. Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA) enters at #18 with a 11-0-2 record and quality wins over Shrewsbury and Marlborough last week. Essex (Essex Junction, VT) comes in at the final spot, #20, at 8-2, with their two losses of the season coming to #18 South Burlington.
