The New England Region Top 3 remain intact with Acton-Boxborough, Andover, and Walpole remaining undefeated. Messalonskee jumps ahead of Longmeadow this week as they look to be the favorite coming out of the state of Maine and Longmeadow tied Minnechaug 0-0 last Wednesday at home.
We have two newcomers to this week’s Top 20. Scarborough High School (Scarborough, ME) enters at #17 as the Red Storm are vying for the top spot in the Maine Class A South standings off to a strong 8-0 start. Shrewsbury High School (Shrewsbury, MA) enters at #19 off to a 6-0-1 start with some quality wins registered and a lone tie in the first game of the season against Westborough. Oakmont Regional High School (Ashburnham, MA) drops to Others Considered after losing to Nashoba Regional 1-3 last week and St. Paul’s School drops to Others Considered after losing on the road to Noble & Greenough School 3-4.
