Today marks the release of the first official MAX Field Hockey High School Regional Top 20 & National Top 25 Rankings of the regular season. Programs from coast to coast have hit the field battling for early positioning, proving that preseason expectations are quickly giving way to real-time execution. The release of this week’s rankings sets the ultimate baseline for the highly anticipated 2026 MAX Field Hockey/Longstreth High School National Invitational, taking place this weekend from September 18–20 at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. The stage is set for an unparalleled showcase of elite high school field hockey, bringing together 69 premier public and private schools representing 14 different states. Over three action-packed days, these powerhouse programs will go head-to-head in 70 official NFHS regulation games. With the vast majority of the field comprised of teams currently fighting for positions at the top of our national and regional leaderboards, this weekend promises to completely shake up the high school landscape.
