2018 Accomplishments:Â IAAM A Conference Regular Season & Tournament Champions
2018 Notables: Repeated as IAAM A Conference Champions and held the top ranking in the state of Maryland for the second year in a row. Beat 4 teams ranked in the final Mid-Atlantic Region Top 20 (#9 Garrison Forest, #16 C. Milton Wright, #19 McDonogh, #20 Archbishop Spalding, as well as 2 “Others Considered” teams- Chesapeake and Severna Park).
2019 Outlook: NDP has had quite a run over the last two seasons, claiming the IAAM A title in a conference with several of the top teams in the state. While the Blazers will lose a very talented class of 11 seniors, including First Team All-American Nathalie Friedman (Wake Forest), First Team All-Region defender Rachel Borzymowski (Boston U), and Second Team All-Region midfielder Olivia Kenny (UPenn), several key returners will keep them competitive and in the mix for the A title again- Meredith Medvetz (Wake Forest), Pyper Friedman (William & Mary), Jenna Klaers (Saint Louis), and goalkeeper Brooke Borzymowski to name a few.  Â
Over the next couple of months MAX Field Hockey will be releasing special features on teams that will be competing in the MAX Field Hockey High School National Invitational at The Proving Grounds, September 20-22, 2019. We are still accepting registrations for teams automatically qualified and applications for additional teams interested in participating!
