Why did you choose this school?: I chose JMU for three main reasons: Number 1; the coaches are amazing people first and incredible coaches second! There is no doubt that compared to other programs Coach Morgan and Coach Stuart demand their team is held at a higher standard of excellence as much off the turf as on it. Number 2; With all of the support staff from nutrition, academic and fitness training to athletic psychology I feel that the field hockey team at JMU is taken care of every step of the way. I believe this will allow me to fulfill my highest potential as a Division 1 athlete while growing as a person to be as successful as possible following graduation. Number 3; I believe Coach Morgan will win another national championship at JMU and I want to help the Dukes accomplish that for her.
Other colleges considered: UMD, Delaware, Shippensburg
Anyone you would like to thank?: Â I am so thankful to have the great coaches, parents, grandparents and brother & sister that all support me every single day. Thank you Coaches Derr, Hess, Hahn and Van Scoten (Mom).
