The NCAA released the first NCAA Division I RPI Rankings today.  Pam Bustin’s 8-0-0 Duke Blue Devils hold the top spot in the early rankings.  The NCAA RPI Rankings are based on teams’ win-loss record and strength of schedule, where as the NFHCA coaches poll is a straight up polling of the Division I coaches opinions of who the Top 20 teams are.  Duke holds the #2 spot on last week’s coaches poll behind the defending National Champions Syracuse (a new coaches poll will be released today).  The NCAA RPI Rankings tend to take a little time to work themselves out, but this is where things stand for now.
