MAX Field Hockey’s Top 150 & Top 100
National Player Invitationals Event Details
The MAX Field Hockey Top 150 & Top 100 National Player Invitationals are slated for May 19th & 20th at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and the amount of talent to be showcased on the field is unmatched!
Athlete Selection:
Class of 2027 TOP 150: Athletes earned an invitation by being named to MAX Field Hockey’s Top 150 Players in the Class of 2027. Spots were limited to 100 field players and 10 goalkeepers, and were filled on a first come, first served basis by ranking category (Top 50, then Next 50, then Watch List). View Player Rankings
Class of 2028 TOP 100: Athletes earned an invitation by being named to MAX Field Hockey’s Top 100 Players to Watch for the Class of 2028. View Player Rankings
EVENT SCHEDULE
Monday, May 19th: Class of 2027 TOP 150
8:00am-11:10am: 7v7 games
11:20am-11:50am: Goalkeeper Showcase
12:30pm-7:30pm: 11v11 games
All games will be played on the FIH Global Certified Villanova University turf
Tuesday, May 20th: Class of 2028 TOP 100
8:00am-10:13am: 7v7 games
10:25am-10:50am: Goalkeeper Showcase
11:00am-5:00pm: 11v11 games
All games will be played on the FIH Global Certified Villanova University turf
Following the event we will name Top Performers for each class based on their performance at the event, including a top Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, and Forward. We will also name the Top 10 players for the Class of 2027 within the next couple of weeks. Athletes do not have to attend the event to be named a Top 10 player.

VIDEO, LIVE STREAMING & HIGHLIGHT PACKAGES
Included in the athlete’s fee is the video footage of all 7v7 games, the GK Showcase, and all 11v11 games (college coaches are also able to access this video for free). The complete video footage will be available within a few days after the event. Athletes can access that footage at the buttons linked below. Put the All Games Package in your cart and “check out” even though it is free. If you do that ahead of time, it will notify you when the video is available.

FINAL DETAILS FOR ATHLETES
Following are the final athlete details for the MAX Field Hockey TOP 150 & TOP 100 National Player Invitationals.
What to Wear/Bring:
-You will receive your reversible jersey at registration
-Black shorts
-Black socks
-White socks
-Shinguards
-Mouthguard
-Stick
-Corner mask if you want it for 11v11
-GK equipment if you are a GK
-Turf or running sneakers (absolutely no cleats)
-Personal water bottle with your name on it (we will have water jugs for refills)
-Sunscreen
-Snacks (lunch is provided)
Directions & Parking
You may park in The Proving Grounds main parking lot right before the Villanova field or in the smaller field hockey lot on the other side of the Villanova field (see map above).
Registration
Registration will be open between 7:00-8:00am. All athletes should check-in during that time. You will receive your jersey and event swag bag. There is no waiver or liability form to hand in- you completed one with your online registration. The registration tent will be setup at the Villanova field along the sidewalk closest to the big parking lot (red icon on the map above).
All players must be ready to warm-up 30 minutes before their first 7v7 game. Please meet your coach and team on the grass area behind the Villanova field closest to the main parking lot and registration.
Athletes are free to go after their final 11v11 game.
COLLEGE COACHES
We look forward to hosting nearly 100 college coaches each day at the National Player Invitationals. A digital college coach program has been sent to the coaches that are registered to attend the event. This program includes the schedule, rosters, and complete player profile info. In that email I also sent important event information relevant to college coaches. If you have not registered, please RSVP asap so that we can pass along the program to you and have the correct count for printed programs, chairs and meals.
