Why did you choose this school?: I chose the University of New Haven because it was one of the few schools I looked at that had both field hockey and a forensics science program. I love the small school feeling when walking through the campus and it is the perfect balance between city and country for me. Coach Lykens was also extremely welcoming and helpful during the recruiting process. Also, it is just far enough away from home that I can be independent but also go home on the weekends if I needed to.

Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my family for supporting me throughout my field hockey career. I would also like to thank my coaches, Christine Krempa, Jeanine LoDestro, Tracy Ringer, and my club coaches for shaping me into the player and person I have become. Finally, my teammates, who have pushed me to be my very best and stood by me since the beginning.
