Why did you choose this school?: I chose American University for several reasons. The moment I stepped on campus I knew it was the right fit for me. I love the D.C. location and feel it has a lot to offer. AU offers high quality academics which is very important to me. But more than anything, I instantly felt a connection to the field hockey team and love the inclusiveness of the coaches and players. Plus, I am very excited to be part of the NCAA Patriot League.

Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank all of my X-Calibur coaches, especially Brian Hope and Kim Underwood, and my X-Calibur teammates for pushing me at each practice and scrimmage to be the best player I can be. I would also like to thank all my coaches from Methacton High School, especially Amanda Fuertsch and Sarah Quintois, for holding me to high standards and helping me through the recruiting process. And a special shout out to my youth coach, Rick Hoover, for inspiring me at a young age to play at a high level. In addition, I would like to thank my Methacton teammates for supporting me on and off the field and for being my closest friends. Lastly and most importantly, I would like to thank my family for believing in me and being there since I was in kindergarten to guide and support me on this awesome journey.
