Preseason Regional Players to Watch

A Couple Notes About Players to Watch: 2020 has been a challenging year all-around and selecting players to watch was no exception.  We made the decision to move forward and to recognize players whether they are playing a season or not, and whether they are playing in the Fall or the Spring.  Nominations were accepted, but not required.  Players who were All-Region First or Second Team in 2019 automatically move onto the list as a player to watch in 2020.  We work very hard to distinguish between our High School awards and Player Rankings/USA Field Hockey selections- players can have a different impact in each setting/style.  It is an extremely difficult task, and as always, we miss some very deserving players.  This year was even more difficult because we weren’t able to evaluate players and get feedback/selections from the spring/summer events.  Our postseason player awards are TBD at this time.
