2018 Accomplishments:  Maine Class A State Champions
2018 Notables: The Tigers upset top seeded and undefeated Skowhegan 4-3 on a hat trick by Abby Allen to capture their first title since 1990
2019 Outlook: The State Champs return 7 starters in 2019, including 2021 midfielder Abby Allen (pictured below, Second Team All-Region, 27 goals, 15 assists), Brooklyn Goff (15 goals, 10 assists), Megan Mourmouras (6 goals, 10 assists), Jill McSorley (4 goals, 3 assists) and the entire defensive unit: Cori Cote, Maddy Dineen and Charli Yoho.  They graduate starters Hailey Allen (All-State, Merrimack commit), Paige Laverriere (All-State, Assumption FH/Lacrosse commit), GK Taylor Wildes (AIC commit) and Harmonie Coolbrothe (USM commit). The Tigers will look to defend their state title with an equally strong group combined with some talented incoming players who are expected to step into new roles.

 

Over the next couple of months MAX Field Hockey will be releasing special features on teams that will be competing in the MAX Field Hockey High School National Invitational at The Proving Grounds, September 20-22, 2019.  We are still accepting registrations for teams automatically qualified and applications for additional teams interested in participating!
