What will you major in/study?: Undecided
Why did you choose this school?: I chose Johns Hopkins because it is the perfect fit for me academically and athletically. Hopkins has an environment where I can thrive and explore a variety of disciplines as I determine what I want to study. It also has a phenomenal international study abroad program that I am looking forward to participating in. The world-class learning environment extends onto Homewood Field and I can’t wait to become a part of the Hopkins field hockey family and continue to learn more about this game I love.
Other Colleges Considered:Â Wesleyan University, Providence College
Anyone you would like to thank?: I would like to thank my teammates at East and United for all their encouragement and support. You can’t play this sport without being surrounded by incredible teammates and I was lucky to have teammates who made me a better player and a better person. I would also like to thank my United FHC coach, Stacey Jackson, and my high school coach, Meg Kahanowitz, for their encouragement, guidance and for teaching me so much about the game I love.
I also need to thank my sports performance coach, Jordan Stone, for keeping me healthy and strong and my family for their continued love and support. And, thank you to Coach Jane and Coach Britt for the opportunity to continue playing field hockey at Johns Hopkins!
