NEW JERSEY REGION & NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

AVERY DONAHUE
Oak Knoll School (NJ)
Senior – Midfield

Donahue was the engine for the top team in the nation this Fall and potentially one of the best squads we’ve seen in our years of High School coverage.  She was the center midfielder and key to everything Oak Knoll did in all areas of the field, defending and attacking.  Her work rate, talent, speed and passion were a powerful combination that made her team dominant against the top teams in the country and also made her teammates around her rise to another level.  She led the Royals to a perfect 26-0 finish and program-best 20 shutouts, winning the Non-Public State Championship, Tournament of Champions, and registering convincing wins over Top 25 opponents they outscored by impressive margins, including #2 Eastern Regional (NJ), #9 The Hill School (PA) and #18 Hershey (PA).

NEW ENGLAND REGION PLAYER OF THE YEAR
