WHY DID YOU CHOOSE MIAMI? “I chose Miami University because I felt like it was the best fit for me both academically and athletically. Miami has a great Special Education program that I am looking forward to being a part of. The University offers so many resources to help student-athletes succeed in the classroom, and that was very important to me. Athletically, I loved both the coaching staff and the program. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, and made me feel like I was already a part of the team. The program is one that I know will challenge me and push me to work hard on the field and in the classroom, and I am looking forward to it. All around Miami University was the perfect fit for me!”
ANYONE YOU WOULD LIKE TO THANK? “First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents. Whether it’s getting me to and from practices or being on the sidelines of every game, they have always been there for me. I would also like to thank both my club coach, Keli Smith-Puzo, and my high school coach, Terri Simonetti-Frost. Both of these women have had such a positive impact on me. They have worked with me from the very beginning to help me mature and grow as a person and a player. I am so appreciative of their constant support, especially throughout the college decision process. They both have been great mentors to me.”
