WHY DID YOU CHOOSE MIAMI? “I chose this school because the campus was the perfect size for me. I loved the scenery and the athletic facilities. Field hockey wise, the coaching style is very similar to that of my high school. I felt very comfortable and at home on all of my visits to Miami. I hope to learn a lot in my upcoming years, and my goals are to the win a MAC Championship and to have the opportunity to compete for a NCAA Championship.”
ANYONE YOU WOULD LIKE TO THANK? “I would like to thank my high school coach, Kim Underwood, for making our schedule hard so we can push ourselves and my club coaches, especially the Hiestands, Tracey Halsey, and Ali McEvoy Campbell, for constantly helping me to improve my skills. I’d also like to thank my teammates at Nook for being goofballs and reminding me that you can still have fun at practice, and my teammates at Wilson for helping me keep a level head during games.”
