2015 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III Regional Players of the Year
Great Lakes Region: Erin Mays (Centre College)
The SAA Defensive Player of the Year anchored a Colonel defense that allowed a conference‐low 18 goals during the regular season. Mays recorded two goals on the season, both game‐winners, as well as three assists for 7 points.
New England East Region: Elizabeth Holmes (Babson College)
Holmes recorded career highs in goals (15), assists (15), and points (45) during her senior season after missing most of the 2014 season due to injury. The 2015 NEWMAC Player of the Year led Babson to a 17‐3 overall record and the school’s first NEWMAC regular season title since 2012.
New England West Region: Rachel Kennedy (Bowdoin College)
The 2015 NESCAC Player of the Year, Kennedy led the conference with 35 goals and 6 assists for 76 points. She recorded a goal in 20 of 22 games during the 2015 season, registering 11 multi‐goal games including 3 consecutive hat tricks.
North Atlantic Region: Tara Lamberti (University of Rochester)
Lamberti finished the 2015 season with a 1.00 goals against average and a .856 save percentage. She posted 9 shutouts while leading the Yellowjackets to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
South Atlantic Region: Lexi Smith (The College of New Jersey)
Smith led TCNJ in goals (21), assists (10), total points (52), game winning goals (6), and defensive saves (4) during the 2015 season. The 2015 NJAC Defensive Player of the Year was also named to the 2015 All‐NJAC First Team.
South Region: Megan Keenan (Ursinus College)
The 2015 Centennial Conference Player of the Year led the conference in goals (21), assists (20), and points (62) during the 2015 season. Keenan was also named as the MVP of the Centennial Conference Tournament.
