Why did you choose this school?: I chose the University of Virginia because of its excellent academic reputation and highly competitive field hockey program. The campus is beautiful and when I went to visit, I didn’t want to leave. Even during this difficult recruiting time the coaches and players really took the time to connect with me and I’m so excited to be a part of their successful program.

Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my family for their constant support and for the time they have dedicated to driving me, watching me play and encouraging me to always work hard. I’d also like to thank my club coaches, Jun and Richard Kentwell and Guy Cathro and my high school coaches for always pushing me to be the best player I can be. I’m grateful for my teammates and friends that have always been an important part of my success. I’m excited to join the UVA field hockey program and want to thank the coaches for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their program.
