WEEK #2: Mid-Atlantic Region High School Rankings

There was lots of movement in the Mid-Atlantic Region Top 20 Rankings this week!  We have a new #1 in First Colonial High School after Frank W. Cox was knocked off by Westfield 2-4 over the weekend.  Westfield gets the biggest bump of the week, up 8 spots to the #5 ranking.  Last week’s #3 ranked Trinity Episcopal played some of the toughest competition in the region over the last week or so, losing to First Colonial 6-0 and losing to now #7 ranked St. Catherine’s School 1-0 in OT just this Tuesday.  They move down to the #8 spot.  Norfolk Academy and Archbishop Spalding continue to look strong, each bumping up a spot to #3 and #4.  Newcomers to the Top 20 this week include 9-0 Fairfax High School in Virginia, coming in at the #19 spot, and Providence Day School from Charlotte, coming in at the #20 spot.
