Camille Edgcomb

By my second year I had improved dramatically due to the work I had put in during the off season, and I was selected to be one of 2 captains representing our team. By the end of our season I had 223 saves and was selected to play in the Vermont Rising Stars Tournament for the second year.

I started playing field hockey my Sophomore year of high school and fell in love with the sport. By the end of my first year I had 144 saves and was chosen to be one of six goalkeepers to play in the Vermont Rising Stars Tournament.

In the spring I am planning to play with the club Green Mountain Girls, where I will get to work with the goalie coach for Middlebury College; Jackie Mountford and St. Michaels College goalie coach, Jim Laskarzewski.

After my first season I decided to play with the Vermont Field Hockey Club which is run by the UVM team and coaches. I had a lot of fun getting trained by the college goalies. My U19 team won our age group at the Spring Fling Tournament in Epping, NH.
