The player
Hi, my name is Madeleine Cook. I am a goalkeeper from Salisbury, Maryland, and a member of the Class of 2030 at Pocomoke High School. I have been playing field hockey since first grade and transitioned to goalkeeping in sixth grade, a position I have played for the past four years. Becoming a goalkeeper has helped me develop confidence, strong communication skills, mental toughness, and leadership. I take pride in my work ethic, coach ability, and ability to stay composed under pressure. During high school and my club career, I am committed to improving my technical skills, footwork, and overall field awareness. I value leading, organizing from the back, and striving to be a reliable presence for my team. My goal is to compete at the collegiate level.
