Why did you choose this school?: Louisville is a perfect fit for me. A positive and supportive team culture is the most important thing to me and I felt the strong team bond between players and coaches every time I was there. I love the atmosphere on campus and it felt like I was immediately at home with the coaches and players. Louisville provides an amazing support system for its athletes and I am so thankful for the opportunity to further my education at such a great university.
Who would you like to thank?: I’ve been blessed to work with many great coaches throughout my field hockey journey. Thanks to my high school coaches, Coach Frey and Coach Amy. Special thank you to coaches Alli, Kristen, and Tiff. You all reminded me why I love this game so much. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Brian Hope, who believes in me even when I doubt myself. Thank you for understanding me, for always having my back and for pushing me to accept nothing less than my best. I will make you proud. To my CP crew, thank you for still being there. Your friendships mean the world to me. Thanks to my X-Calibur teammates for accepting me so quickly, you have become the greatest friends anyone could ask for. I have learned so much from playing with all of you. Lastly, I want to thank my family for always being there for me. The countless hours my parents have spent getting me to and from my practices and doing whatever was needed to help me achieve my dreams is something I will always be thankful for. Thank you for listening when I said I needed a change. I know that spending hours in a car driving me to practice after a long day of work isn’t exactly easy, but I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know.
