What will you major in/study?: Civil Engineering
Why did you choose this school?: I chose Syracuse because it fit what I was looking for both academically and athletically. It will give me the opportunity to play field hockey at the highest level while also pursuing a Civil Engineering degree. I consider Syracuse to be the perfect distance from my home as well. It was one of the first colleges I had ever played at for a tournament, and I have wanted to go there ever since. I knew Syracuse was the school for me when I found myself comparing the other schools I was interested in to their university.
Other Colleges considered: Lafayette College, Colgate University, University of Pennsylvania, University at Albany
Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my club coach, Dalton Beaver, and all of my coaches that have helped me grow as a player and a person. I would also like to thank my mom for driving me to field hockey events all the time and supporting me throughout my journey. I would like to thank my sisters, family, friends, teammates, and every person that has supported me. I would also like to thank the coaches at Syracuse University for giving me this opportunity.
