Why did you choose this school?:I chose Millersville University because I wanted to pursue my field hockey career at a competitive level that still allowed me to be a full-time college student and have fun. Millersville University’s campus is stunning and it was important to me to have a campus that felt like home and that really made me feel safe, welcome, and had a good surrounding environment. It also offered a field in which I was interested in pursing because I am a student looking to achieve a degree so that I can do something I love as my career.
Other colleges considered: Fairleigh Dickinson University, Stockton University, Eastern University, Rowan University

Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my High School field hockey coach Dana Ott for being there for me since I was in 4th grade. She was my Spirit coach when I was in elementary school and became my middle school coach and finally she took the offering of an open spot as the Varsity Head Coach for my high school team. She has helped me improve every aspect of my game tremendously. I would also like to thank my amazing and extremely inspiring club coaches Michelle and Carissa Vittese for helping me bring my intensity and drive for the game to a whole new level. Being on the National team, they have wisdom and advice from the point of view of a position that so few and far between get to see. And finally, I would like to thank my parents for committing their lives to making sure I had everything I wanted and needed to purse something that made me happy. They played a key role in my decision to go to Millersville University. All of the years of time, effort, and sacrifice was all for me and it was always greatly appreciated and never went unnoticed. I would not be where I am today as a student-athlete if it wasn’t for them.
