Why did you choose this school?: I choose Mary Washington because the campus felt like home when I went for a visit. I felt that Coach Barbacow was open in her expectations and the team was very welcoming. I was confident that UMW would allow me to excel to the next level in both my education as well as being part of a great field hockey team.

Anyone you would like to thank?: I am thankful that I had the support of my mom and dad throughout all the years of playing club and high school field hockey. I also want to thank my club coach, Lloyd Conyers, for pushing me to excel individually and my high school coaches, Tina Nham and Kari Kraus for all support, talks and snacks they provided. Also a huge thanks to the SYC coaches, Ann, Rosie and Lindsay for the encouragement and confidence they had in me from the start.
