Why did you choose this school?: I chose Sacred Heart University primarily because of the coaching and strong academic reputation. The campus is picturesque and the facilities are modern. Connecticut is a beautiful state and close enough for my family to come watch me play. Coach Sydney and Coach Greta made me feel welcome, wanted and special from our first phone call.

Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my family for believing in me and for supporting my decision to put down the softball bat and pick up a field hockey stick. They encouraged me to try something completely different and foreign. I would like to thank my dad for the countless hours he practiced with me and for always greeting me after a game by saying, ” I enjoyed watching you play.” I would like to thank my former and current high school coaches for all of their encouragement, instruction, and guidance. Finally, I would like to thank my club coaches for teaching and breaking down the game of field hockey.
