Donahue was the engine for the top team in the nation this Fall and potentially one of the best squads we’ve seen in our years of High School coverage. Â She was the center midfielder and key to everything Oak Knoll did in all areas of the field, defending and attacking. Â Her work rate, talent, speed and passion were a powerful combination that made her team dominant against the top teams in the country and also made her teammates around her rise to another level. Â She led the Royals to a perfect 26-0 finish and program-best 20 shutouts, winning the Non-Public State Championship, Tournament of Champions, and registering convincing wins over Top 25 opponents they outscored by impressive margins, including #2 Eastern Regional (NJ), #9 The Hill School (PA) and #18 Hershey (PA).
