What will you major in/study?: Justice and Law
Why did you choose this school?: I chose American University in DC because I felt like I fit in right away. The school is academically challenging, offers access to internships and jobs in the nation’s capital, and the field hockey team is a power-house in the Patriot League. Coach Jennings and Coach Montgomery have built a culture of trust, teamwork, and excellence. I am honored to become part of it when I graduate.
Other colleges considered: There were many other colleges that I could have seen myself attending, each for different reasons.
Anyone you would like to thank?: I would like to thank my coaches, Sarah O’Neill of Blair Academy, Jim, Toni, and Tori Popinko at New Jersey Starz, Victor Ochering from Rapid Fire who first taught me how to play, and my mom who coached my team from 2nd-8th grade. Everyone’s support and positive encouragement made me believe in myself.
